Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences (ViA) is thrilled to invite staff from the University of Veliko Tarnovo for the Blended Intensive Program (BIP) on "Innovative Methods for Future Skills", which will be hosted by ViA in Valmiera, Latvia. The program is scheduled to take place from October 23rd to October 27th, 2023.
Program Description:
✔️ The primary objective of this program is to enhance the pedagogical skills of university academic staff, enabling them to effectively utilize innovative teaching methodologies such as simulations, virtual reality, multimedia, and more. Familiarity with these methods will equip university lecturers with the skills necessary to prepare students for the challenges of the future.
Added Value:
✔️ The program offers both theoretical insights into innovative pedagogical methods and their practical applications. Participants will have the unique opportunity to not only learn about these methods but also experience them firsthand. During the program, attendees will also gain insights into Latvian culture and traditions, and engage in meaningful discussions with academic staff from various international universities.
Outcomes:
✔️ Participants will acquire valuable and innovative teaching methods, gain insights into Latvian culture, foster new contacts, and generate ideas for potential collaborations.
Competencies Gained:
✔️ The program will enable participants to enhance their pedagogical skills, develop intercultural competence, improve counseling skills, and acquire digital proficiency.

Eligibility:
✔️ To participate, an Erasmus+ Inter-Institutional Agreement must be signed between the sending and receiving organizations. If such an agreement is not yet in place, we will coordinate with your international office.
