| Course content ( maximum 700 characters) | The purpose of the course is to introduce the nature of homeland studies to the students and to prepare them for practical realization of a study of the native land or the birthplace. Basic terms from the field of homeland studies are discussed, as well as its development in the world in brief. The students explore the methodological basis needed for the realization of a homeland study, and the different types of sources of information. In separate lectures are described the components of such a study. Attention is paid to the organization and presentation of the results of the homeland study. |
